What We Believe

  • We believe the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and that it is the record of God’s revelation of Himself to man, and that it is without error.

  • We believe in the only true God, and that he exists in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

  • We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial atoning death for our sins, His bodily resurrection, and His personal, literal, imminent return.

  • We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, including all life, by direct act, not by the process of evolution.

  • We believe that hell is a real place and that Satan is a real person.

  • We believe that heaven is a real place and that one must receive Jesus Christ as personal Savior in order to go there.

  • We believe that man in his natural state can in no way save himself no matter how good his intentions.  God, however, has provided a way for all people to be saved by grace through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, and that it is a free gift of God.

  • We believe in righteous living and good works, not as the means of salvation, but as its evidence and fruit.

  • We believe in the autonomy of the local church and practice the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

  • We believe in giving our tithes and offerings to and through the local church to support local and world evangelism.

  • We believe evangelism is the responsibility and privilege of every member of the local church.
