Growing together.

An integral part of the church is a thriving Student Ministry that engages students both inside and outside the church.  Our goals in student ministry are as follows:
Help teach students to fall in love with the Word of God.
Teach students the meaning of Biblical prayer.
Instill a life of worship in each student.
Obtain a doctrinal understanding of the Bible.
Develop a heart for Biblical Discipleship and Evangelism.

Classes

Sunday morning at 9:00 provides the opportunity for informal small groups divided by age and gender where the students can grow closer to God and each other through applicable Bible studies led by Christ- centered teachers who have been trained through Discipleship 1 and feel as if God has laid teaching students on their heart to help others grow in their walk with Christ.

Sunday afternoon starts at 5:30. This is a part of our growth classes model for our Sunday night structure. Parents will be engaging in multiple growth classes, and the students will have a full slate of worship on Sunday nights. We will start with worship songs led by our Youth Praise Team, followed by a time of preaching/teaching through God’s Word that will help all students understand the purpose of their lives and the necessity of surrendering to Christ by following God’s Word. We end our Sunday night with fellowship including fun activities, games and snacks each week.

Wednesday night holds our largest meeting during the week.  We start at 6:00.

Activities

S.N.A.C (Sunday Nights After Church) is an event held for approximately one hour following some of our Sunday afternoon services.  This allows our students extra opportunity to hang out, grow relationships with each other, play competitive games, or just relax with their friends prior to their preparation for the upcoming week.
We also offer regular activities throughout the year including Rock Climbing, local sporting events, White Water Rafting, and other outings.

Camps & Retreats

Summer camp is one of the highlights of our Student’s year.  Each year we seek to provide an opportunity for our students to attend a camp where they are not simply entertained and afforded an opportunity to engage in exciting activities, but rather, the focus is on God and what He has in store for them during the week.

We also provide the opportunity to attend different retreats where the students will be challenged in their spiritual walk.  These retreats will be chosen based on our ministry goals to help develop our young people in their growth as a Christian to prepare them to take the first step of Biblical Discipleship
